On her 39th birthday, the renowned media personality and host of UTV’s United Showbiz show, MzGee, decided to celebrate in a truly special way. Rather than hosting a lavish party or indulging in personal luxuries, she chose to spread joy and kindness by giving back to her community in a profoundly meaningful manner.

MzGee and members of her team embarked on a mission to bring smiles to the faces of the less fortunate.

Taking to her Facebook wall, she shared the details of her philanthropic endeavors, which included visiting and donating a variety of essential items to three different orphanages.

MzGee revealed that her donation comprised a diverse array of necessities, ranging from branded exercise books to staples like rice, corn, gari, sugar, and biscuits. Additionally, she provided items such as water, drinks, detergent, toiletries, tomato purée, tin fish, candies, and evaporated milk.

She indicated that the selection of these goods was to address the various needs of the orphanages and contribute to the well-being of the children under their care.

MzGee’s act of kindness did not stop at the orphanage. 

The award-winning media personality and her dedicated team also embarked on a street feeding drive to help hawkers living on the streets.

They visited areas such as Okponglo, Shiashie, and Dzorwulu traffic lights, where they generously provided food to a hundred hawkers.
