MzGee Makes First Statement After She Resigned From Media General

Earlier this morning, zionfelix.net, your trusted source of all juicy celebrity news in Ghana reported that TV3 and 3FM’s entertainment journalist and television host, Gloria Akpene Acquah, popularly known as MzGee, has resigned from Media General after a 2-year stint.

In the statement signed by the Group Head, Corporate Affairs, Christopher Koney, MzGee’s resignation will take effect from 25th October 2021.

The statement also added that “MzGee has been a valuable addition to the Group and her contribution is appreciated. Management wishes her the best of luck in her future endeavors…”

After the news went viral, MzGee has also made a statement of her own on her social media pages.

Sharing two lovely photos of herself, the former host of TV3’s entertainment magazine show dubbed “SIMPLY SHOWBIZ” and 3FM’s mid-morning radio show added the caption: “This is to express my profound gratitude to Media General for making my stay memorable. It has been another opportunity for tremendous growth. I truly appreciate the platforms granted me to give Gh and beyond great highlights! But, it is now time to fly higher! May God be our guide in all our endeavors! See ya!”
