According to him, Richie Mensah, boss of Lynx Entertainment replied a critic with the views of the songstress’ song on Youtube when the person also questioned MzVee’s nomination for the dancehall category.
Epixode also querried the awards scheme if the category is for only Ghanaian musicians working in the country or Ghanaians excelling outside the country also qualify for the nomination. The “Avatar” hitmaker further mentioned Black Prophet, Rocky Dawuni, Black Messiah and many other Reggae and dancehall musicians who are shinning outside the shores of Ghana but failed to gain nomination for this year’s awards.
