Ghanaian actress, Nadia Buari and gospel musician, Joe Mettle were earlier today unveiled as the brand ambassadors for two new policies introduced by the award-winning insurance company, Glico.

Nadia Buari was unveiled as the brand ambassador for Glico’s Home Owners Policy while Joe Mettle was unveiled as the brand ambassador for Glico’s Motor Club.

Below is the full details of the two new policies Glico has launched on New Year’s Eve

The GLICO General Motor and Homeowners club is an innovation introduced by GLICO General which will offer our customers added benefits to their Home insurance and Motor Comprehensive policies at no additional cost.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE MOTOR CLUB MEMBERSHIP

  1. Motor club is targeted at our prestige INDIVIDUAL CLIENTS who purchase comprehensive Motor Insurance policy with a premium of GH¢2,000.00 and above.
  2. Such clients automatically qualify to be a part of the GLICO General MOTOR CLUB. However, they would need to give their consent to be part of the club.
  3. By giving their consent, a membership card will be issued to them instantly.
  4. The card has an access code which will be used to redeem the benefits of the club.

BENEFITS OF THE MOTOR CLUB

  • Free virtual medical consultation
    • Discounted medical services including ambulance, delivery of prescribed medicines and medical laboratory services
    • Subsidized roadside assistance and free vehicle diagnostics checks from our approved repairers and Auto Mobile companies
    • Free GLICO General branded souvenirs.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE HOMEOWNERS CLUB MEMBERSHIP

In addition to the benefits of our enhanced homeowners insurance policy:

  1. Clients who pay for their homeowners insurance Policies with a premium of

GH¢500.00 and above gets to be a member of our HOMEOWNERS CLUB.

  • Such clients automatically qualify to be a part of the GLICO General HOMEOWNERS CLUB. However, they would need to give their consent to be part of the club.
  • By giving their consent, a membership card will be issued to them instantly.
  • The card has an access code which they will use to redeem the benefits of the club.

BENEFITS OF THE HOMEOWNERS CLUB

  • Free virtual medical consultation
    • Discounted medical services including ambulance, delivery of prescribed medicines and medical laboratory services
    • Exciting free limits of cover for contents and accident up to GHS 10,000.00
    • Free GLICO General branded souvenirs.

MODE OF EXECUTION

Since the execution of these benefits are in conjunction with GLICO Healthcare, the GLICO General Marketer/Underwriter must immediately inform GLICO Healthcare and share the policy details with them accordingly.

This will enable them generate an access code which will be used by clients to redeem these added benefits. Underwriters must indicate this access code on a loyalty card which will be provided to all branches.

HOW TO UNDERWRITE?

  1. Contact GLICO Healthcare on 0501634026
  2. Provide GLICO Healthcare with our Policy number, Client name and Date of Birth.
  3. An access code will be given to you instantly
  4. Complete with black or blue pen the preprinted Loyalty card.

HOW TO REDEEM BENEFITS

Benefits can be redeemed throughout the policy year without any limitations.

  1. For E-medicine client should contact 0501634026 and provide their access code.
  2. For general assistance and other benefits clients would contact customers services on 0501447694

Both number are behind the loyalty card.

NOTE: A qualified client can only subscribe ones to any of them ie. Homeowners or Motor. In the event where one client has both motor and home insurance with us, one access code will be generated for the customer.
