Head of Communications at Zylofon Media, Samuel Atuobi Baah has rubbished rumors circulating that his boss, Nana Appiah Mensah who is popularly known as NAM1 paid Sarkodie some huge sum of money to beef with Shatta Wale to generate the needed media buzz prior to the launch of the ‘Reign Album’.
In a one-on-one sit down with MzGee of Multimedia Group’s Joy News, Samuel Baah stated emphatically that his rich and philanthropic boss is way bigger and above paying money to artists to beef.
“NAM1 thinks just beyond this, I am sure what he is lookin for is bigger than paying artiste to beef on a song…” he stated.
When MzGee pushed further and stated that maybe NAM1 did it to draw out the huge crowd who attended the event, Sammy Baah answered in the negative. He added that Shatta Wale already had the media buzz right after he stated publicly that he was going to host his ‘Reign Album’ launch at a fully packed Fantasy Dome, a venue which many big Nigerian music artistes like Wizkid and Davido had failed to fill to capacity.

The host of Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda Show and PRO for Zylofon Media, Sammy Baah also added that the songs Shatta Wale was releasing into the music space prior to his album launch were also working the magic on creating the needed media buzz. He further used Shatta Wale’s ‘Gringo’ music video as an example of the songs which helped to generate the needed media buzz for the album launch and not some money Nana Appiah Mensah paid to Sarkodie to beef Shatta Wale.
