The real estate mogul mentioned that despite receiving a provisional certificate from the Electoral Commission (EC) about eight months ago they have unduly delayed the other processes he has to go through.
He mentioned that the subsequent procedures outlined by the EC would impede his party’s participation in the 2024 elections if he decides to run as a political.
He also recounted the arduous registration process, noting that his team had to persistently communicate with the EC to ascertain the status of their application.
Nana Kwame Bediako finally affirmed his resolve to run as an independent candidate in December 2024. He acknowledged the likelihood of attempts, similar to those in previous Ghanaian elections, to prevent him from appearing on the ballot. Nonetheless, Bediako pledged to fight relentlessly to ensure his inclusion.
He called on Ghanaians to support his candidacy, promising to steer the nation towards the long-sought change that many citizens desire. According to Bediako, he alone possesses the capability to bring about this transformative change for Ghana.
