The latest media personality to join the Media General conglomerate is renowned radio and TV broadcaster, Nana Yaa Brefo.
The deal was announced in the early hours of Thursday, February 1, 2024.
This news comes at the back of the resignation of Nana Yaa Brefo from the Angel Broadcasting Network on December 1, 2023.
Until her resignation, Nana Yaa Brefo served as the co-host for the Morning Show and Head of News TV at Angel FM/TV.
It is currently unknown what her responsibilities will be at Media General but one can take a wild guess and conclude that she might join Captain Smart’s team on the Onua TV morning show because they were a beautiful while at Angel Broadcasting Network.

About Nana Yaa Brefo
She was born Deborah Nana Yaa Brefo in Takoradi in the Western Region, but later moved to Accra.
According to Nana Yaa, her father decided to erase Deborah from her name when she was a child.
According to Nana Yaa, she has four other siblings (two sisters two brothers) and she is the last born.
She indicated in an interview with Kofi TV that she never used Deborah when she was in school.
She was born on December 31, 1977, meaning she will be 43 in December.
Nana Yaa had her tertiary education at the Ghana Institute of Journalism from 2000 to 2002.
Nana Yaa is a married woman.
Her husband lives in the United States of America (USA), Maryland to be precise.
Their marriage has been blessed with a son.
Before joining Media General today, Nana Yaa Brefo has earlier worked with Angel Broadcasting Network, Multimedia Group Limited, and also previously worked with Accra-based Peace FM.
Her experience in journalism spuns over two decades.
