Versatile Ghanaian actress Vivian Jill Lawrence has denied reports that the founder of International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim assured her of a child when she was struggling to have her second baby.
The actress who gave birth to her second son, Alfie Nana Amponsah Okobeng on February 23 in USA speaking to Zionfelix.net Friday morning said: “I’ve never been to Obinim’s church and I never contacted him for a child”. The worried actress continued that she spoke to the man of God after an unfortunate incident happened three years ago but not when she was facing problems with pregnancy.
Explaining further, Vivian disclosed that she had the chance to talk to Bishop Obinim after Ananse, a filmmaker who used to work at OBTV passed away. According to her, the family of the late needed her advice and that of Bishop Obinim and that brought them into contact. The mother of two continued that the man of God encouraged her to believe in God in times of trouble but never talked about her pregnancy issues because she was not expecting a baby then.
She added that there was no instance where the two had a conversation about her miscarriage so she cannot fathom why she would wake up to read reports that Bishop Obinim prophesied to her that she would deliver despite her troubles.
“I never contacted Obinim for a child and I’ve never been to his church. He told me something years ago and that is what I said that people have misquoted me saying Obinim gave me a child. What we talked about was never about my pregnancy. I wasn’t even pregnant at the time. This issue I’m talking about happened like three years ago. I’ve seen Obinim just twice in my entire life” She told Zionfelix.net.
Vivian Jill was reported to have said that “I gave birth because of Bishop Obinim’s advice”.
