Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Livingstone Etse Satekla who is better known by his stage name Stonebwoy, has commended the Nigerian music industry for being consistent in projecting Africa on the global scale when it comes to entertainment.
His commendations came at the back of Burna Boy and Wizkid Dayo’s Grammy wins yesterday.
In a tweet, the “Hero” hit maker called on all Africa Nations to give it up to the West African country for their constant efforts in promoting the continent’s music.
When it was his turn to talk about Ghana, Stonebwoy rather cast doubt on the efforts of the Ghana music industry.
“With All Due Respect Let All other African Nations Give It Up For Nigeria 🇳🇬
For their Constant efforts in Holding the Mantle for Africa when it comes to entertainment On The Global Scene. Congrats for holding it down at the Grammys..
As for Ghana 🇬🇭, smh I’ll be back..,” he tweeted.
The tweet didn’t go down well with a cross section of social media users including dancehall artiste Samini who entered into a back and forth with Stonebwoy.
