Gospel musician Gifty Adorye’s recent counter-argument raised that the application of makeups by ladies, and in particular female celebrities is not a sin in opposition to the earlier suggestions by former highlife musician turned Evangelist, Papa Shee seems to have been misconstrued by a section of people.
Some people who saw articles of the award-winning musician’s argument have suggested that she did so because she probably has an old ‘beef’ with the man of God.
However, Empress Gifty speaking to Dr. Cann on Happy FM’s ‘Showbiz Xtra’ show stated that these suggestions are not true at all. She revealed that her counter-argument was purely for the education of the general populace but not because she has a personal vendetta to settle with Evangelist Papa Shee.

The “Aseda” hitmaker further questioned why people will even think she has a beef with him, adding that the only reason why she even commented on the matter was that the host of the show on Neat FM was the one who asked her the question in the first place.
