Gospel musician, Enoch Blessing Acquah, otherwise known as EBA, has reignited the debate about whether Ghanaian gospel musicians are earning much from their crafts or not.
In an interview with Zion Felix on the ‘Uncut Show’, EBA said he is yet to know any gospel musician in Ghana who owns a one million dollar house.
Meanwhile, he easily mentioned Frank Edwards, a Nigerian gospel musician who owns a one million dollar mansion.
The ‘Balm of Gilead’ composer observed gospel music in Nigeria is more lucrative than Ghana.
He urged his colleagues to ask themselves why gospel music is not paying well in the country.
EBA wondered why gospel music is not dominating despite the huge population of Ghanaians being Christians.
The worship leader believes Ghanaian gospel musicians can attract investors once they are able to give quality.
He, therefore, advised musicians in the country not be in a rush to get popularity.
