Afia Pokuaa, popularly known as Vim Lady, has expressed her belief that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will remain in opposition for an extended period due to the strategic appointments being made by President John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking on her radio show, Vim Lady commended Mahama for appointing numerous young individuals to key roles within his administration.
She argued that these appointments will ensure loyalty within the party while attracting more young people to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Comparing Mahama’s approach to that of former President Akufo-Addo, she criticized the latter for prioritizing family, friends, and long-time allies in key government positions.
She asserted that this strategy hindered the growth of the NPP, while the NDC’s inclusive approach would help expand its membership base.
