The Ghana music industry, even though on rare occasions has seen some great collaborations from musicians from the secular genre and the gospel music genre. In as much as the move has been criticized largely by staunch believers on a number of occasions, the songs these collaborations brought out were great ones which tickled the eardrums of people who listened to them.
The industry might see another of such collaborations as the award-winning gospel musician, Obaapa Christy dropped a hint on the ‘Uncut’ show recently that it would not be a bad idea at all to have arguably Ghana’s best rapper, Micheal Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie on a joint someday.
The “W’asue Me” hitmaker stated that if they decide to do a collaboration, even God will be happy about it since they are all Children of the Maker.
She also emphasized that aside the fact that it will not be a sinful act against God as some people may perceive, a collaboration from Sarkodie and Obaapa Christy will certainly be a banger as music lovers are fully aware that they are both great musicians.

Asked if such a collaboration should be expected anytime soon, Obaapa Christy replied that she was just waiting on her Maker to give her the go-ahead for such collaboration because, in everything she does, the direction from God is the first thing she looks out for.
Should this collaboration from Obaapa and Sarkodie really drop anytime soon, it will join those of Daddy Lumba and Great Ampong, Nacee and Guru, Herty Borngreat and Sarkodie, Opanka and Gifty Osei, Lady Prempeh ft Asem and Richie in the history books of such collaborations.
