Sensational Gospel Diva, Obaapa Christy is set to release her fourteenth album come October, zionfelix.net can say authoritatively.
This comes at a time when most of the legends in Gospel music are finding it difficult to come back into the music scene. This is her first album after she was ordained as a Reverend Minister in the United States. The six-track album which comprises of both worship and praises seeks to inspire, motivate and bless Gospel lovers all over the world.
Speaking exclusively to Zionfelix.net, her manager, Quame Owusu Daqua mentioned that this was the right time devoid the pressure to release an album. He disclosed that “as Christians, God directs us as to when to come out. We waited for His time and this is the right time that He has given us.” When asked if there were any collaborations made with other artists especially dancehall artist Stonebwoy who Obaapa Christy has admitted she admires her, Quame only smiled and asked her teeming fans to wait for October.
The album which is under the label of Francoba Management has six songs with W’agye me as the album title.
Obaapa Christy is currently in Europe for some shows and is set to join Gospel Artiste Noble Nketsiah for a charity concert in the Netherland and UK next month before coming to Ghana for the album launch.
