Ghana’s socialite and media personality, Efia Odo, has taken to social media to express her disappointment over musician EL’s hasty departure after a media interview during day 2 of the OccupyJulorbiHouse protest in Accra.
In a tweet, Efia Odo labeled the incident as “some fake bullshit.”
Efia Odo, known for her outspoken nature and candid opinions, didn’t mince her words in her tweet. She highlighted EL’s abrupt exit as one that goes to show that he only came to the protest grounds to chase clout.
EL came to talk to the media and left !!! That’s all he did. That’s some fake bullshit

EL was spotted at the protest site. In an interview, he claimed that while online support is important, it is insufficient to convince the government to pay attention to the protesters’ complaints. For this reason, EL chose to attend the demonstration in person in order to increase the number of participants.
Speaking in an interview with Joynews, E.L even called on celebrities and the general public to join the OccupyJulorbiHouse protest to amplify their voices for the government to listen to their plights.
“I am here to show solidarity and support to put actual boots on the ground. We can do so much online but I think our being present here sends the message across that we are not here to play,” he said
As of now, EL has not responded to Efia Odo’s tweet or offered any clarification regarding his swift exit from the ground.
