Okyeame Kwame, despite being popular for his musical talent, has also been making waves as a climate change ambassador in Ghana since 2015.
His journey began when the Forestry Commission selected him as the ambassador for the World Plus campaign.
Later, he undertook the Dedicate Grant Mechanism (DGM), a project supported by the World Bank through Solidaridad West Africa.
The musician has been actively involved in the Climate Clock campaign as well in the last few months, and this has seen him travel to schools and engage with students in tree-planting activities.
A unique aspect of his initiative involves students naming the planted trees after themselves, fostering a personal connection to environmental conservation.
