Ghanaian rapper Kwame Nsiah-Apau popularly known as Okyeame Kwame has singled out Ghanaian afrobeats singer Kuami Eugene as his best friend in the music industry.
The Rap Doctor as he is affectionately called was speaking on Y 102.5 FM. Asked why he chose Kuami Eugene as his best friend among all the artistes he has worked with, Okyeame Kwame said Kuami Eugene chose him as his best friend three months ago in an interview so he is returning the favour.
Okyeame Kwame told YFM NYDJ that he talks with Kuami Eugene all the time and he sees a lot of himself in the young act. What surprises the veteran singer is the age of the “Angela” hitmaker compared to his energy and his work.
Okyeame Kwame said although the artiste is just half of his age, he gets a lot of inspiration from him anytime he talks with him.
On his song “Yekoo” which he sang with the Lynx Entertainment signed artiste, Okyeame Kwame revealed that it was as a result of the friendship and vibe they both share.
