Award-winning Ghanaian musician and High Grade Family boss, Samini, has weighed in on the ongoing feud between his protégés, Stonebwoy and Kelvynboy.

In a recent post on his X account, Samini expressed hope that peace will prevail soon.

He also mentioned that there would be the need for healing.

Samini‘s X post that tagged both Stonebwoy and Kelvynboy reads, “Order will be restored at home. Second generation will have to read the history a bit further to understand. But on the grand scheme of things, we chose to let whatever has been against us be for us henceforth. Humility alone cannot do it without patience. Allow the offended to heal and be careful not to allow entitlement to replace loyalty.”

This new rift came about after Kelvynboy went on X to accuse Stonebwoy of employing “mafia tactics” to sabotage his career in reaction o some claims of the Burntion Music boss that his life was under threat because of him when he spoke to Ike De Unpredictable in Kumasi on Sunday, December 29, 2024.

In his outburst, Kelvynboy alleged that Stonebwoy had turned the public against him, making it difficult for him to achieve his full potential.

“What exactly do you want from me, nigga? You have defamed me, turned the majority of Ghanaians against me because you’re a saint and you can never do no wrong. I no dey fit rise to the heights I for dey mainly because of your mafia tactics, but Grace dey speak for me regardless,” Kelvynboy posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Anyway is not really new even though it is not healthy.

The rift between the two dates back to 2019, when Kelvynboy’s contract with Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group (BMG) was terminated due to “structural challenges.”

Before the split, Kelvynboy had been a rising star under BMG, blending his Afrobeat sound with Stonebwoy’s reggae/dancehall dominance.

However, rumors of disrespect and ungratefulness overshadowed their partnership, leading to an acrimonious fallout. Since the split, the relationship between the two has been fraught with subtle social media jabs and allegations.

Matters worsened in 2020 when Kelvynboy was reportedly attacked during an event in Ashaiman.

Despite their differences, Kelvynboy has made multiple public attempts to reconcile, including an emotional moment where he knelt to plead for forgiveness.
