Singer and rapper Blak P has denied allegations that Osofo Kyiri Abosom wants to pomp cash into the shooting of his music video for his Ghana Union Movement (GUM) 2020 election campaign.
Blak’s single ‘Medabrem Ny3’ released recently features Yaa Pono.
In an interview on Kumasi-based radio station Gye Nyame FM where he was asked about rumors that some political parties have contacted his management team to finance the project, Blak mentioned that he and his team are not into partisan politics.
According to him, he is focused on recording songs that entertain and motivate his fans.
He stressed that the song was not composed to ridicule any political party, neither does he expect it to be used by politicians before and during the 2020 elections.
“I want to let Ghanaians know that I am not a politician and my management is not in for politics, we are here to entertain people. Some people take lessons from music so we aim at impacting lives through this medium,” he said.
