Ghanaian singer, Bismark Enyan, well known as Abochi, has disagreed with people who think the music industry will collapse without Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
Recently, blogger and artiste manager, George Britton made this assertion which fueled a beef between him and rapper, Edem.
“Ghana will not have a vibrant entertainment industry if musicians like Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are taken out of the list,” he was quoted to have said this when speaking with KMJ on Joy Prime’s ‘Showbiz Now’ program.

Reacting to this in an interview with Dr Cann on Happy FM’s ‘Showbiz Xtra’ which was monitored by Zionfelix.net, Abochi believes otherwise.
According to him, it will be a deception for people to make such a statement.
He observed other artistes are capable of replacing Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Sarkodie.
Abochi added that this perception has been in the minds of some people because the attention has been on some few A-list artistes in the country.

“When Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Sarkodie leave the music scene, there are other musicians who will replace them,” he stated.
The ‘Bestie’ singer, therefore, called on Ghanaians to support budding musicians in the country.
“Let’s support all artistes so that we don’t have a few at the top. And break the cycle of making statements like this,” he pleaded.
