Award-winning Ghanaian Gospel musician, Celestine Donkor has been named as the COVID-19 vaccination ambassador by the Ghana Health Service.

The official unveiling took place on Friday, October 22, 2021, at Cleaver House in Accra.

From what we have gathered, Celestine’s role as ambassador is to mobilize people to take the COVID-19 vaccines and to mask up at every point in time.

Also, she is expected to use her influence, social status, brand, and social media platforms to educate people on the coronavirus pandemic and the numerous challenges it comes with.

Sharing the news to the world, she wrote as a caption of some photos she uploaded on her Instagram page: ‘Helloo Ghana Let’s support the GHANA HEALTH SERVICE to spread the right information about the covid vaccines out there. I am vaccinated. It is safe and effective. Go get yours! LET’S SAVE LIVES TOGETHER!’

It will be recalled that Celestine Donkor survived the virus back in February this year, so this opportunity given her will most definitely go a long way to help her educate people and also address all those who feel stigmatized after they survived.
