Season 3 of popular television show, REVEALED WITH BOLA RAY, launched last night at the Mövenpick Hotel, Accra.
The event attracted leading figures of notable media and luxury industry brands for a night full of glitz.
Hosted by Laillah-Crystal Banda, with performances from Samini, KiDi, Sandra Hudson, Mizter Okyere, and the Asa Band, it kicked off what should be an exciting run on local and international television as the all new season goes live soon. The third season of REVEALED WITH BOLA RAY will prominently feature the team’s trip to South Africa, which was proudly sponsored by the Wines of South Africa (WOSA) organization, whose Market Manager for Africa, Matome Mbatha, was in Accra for the launch.
Addressing the gathering, Mbatha underscored the unique relationship that exists between Ghana and South Africa, and how the wholesale and retail Wine industry in both countries can benefit from each other using the REVEALED WITH BOLA RAY show as a vehicle for accelerated growth. He hinted that the upcoming season will speak to the amazing opportunities while highlighting South Africa’s unique positioning in the Wines industry in the world.
Host of the show Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi (Bola Ray) said REVEALED WITH BOLA RAY has come to fill an important gap in the luxury industry, adding that since its inception, it has grown to influence the thinking of the importance of preserving luxury as a tool for sustained brand equity. The REVEALED WITH BOLA RAY show he added, is on a path to bringing to the fore, the treasures that have long been hidden and unexplored in Ghana and beyond. The South Africa trip he said, was an eye opener for the team.
Bola Ray also took the opportunity to introduce his co-host for Season 3, Emeline Nsingi Nkosi. He also mentioned that the show will seek to help bridge the gap between the rich and the poor, one of which was a donation to a young girl who benefited from some GHs 15, 000 raised from the show’s charity initiative instituted at the end of Sesaon 1. She is to undergo surgery in days.
Sponsored by WOSA, the South Africa trip saw the team tour some top Vineyards in Cape Town, home to a bubbly wine industry. Accompanied by Mbatha and Bill Bedzrah, Ghana and Nigeria Representative of WOSA, the visit afforded the crew an insight into the dynamics of what has so far been a successful African Wine industry story.

Other activities during the tour; a luxurious overnight-ride aboard the Blue Train through mountain ridges, hills, valleys and townships of Cape Town and Pretoria, affording a truly intimate interaction of the country, which also stands as a beacon of democracy and self determination, especially via the stories of Nelson Mandela, and late jazz legend Hugh Masekela. A grand tour of Soweto, the famous Motor Museum at L’Ormarins, a visit to the first home of Nelson Mandela and the Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory, as well as Art installations and trips to the Maboneng and Alexandra Townships also featured prominently.
Hosted by celebrated media mogul Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi (Bola Ray), REVEALED WITH BOLA RAY has in past seasons done extensive country episodes, the South African addition being a fresh injection.
