The issue of taking pictures and videos when accidents happen instead of taking steps to save victims has become a norm. The situation has again popped up following an incident in Tesano on Monday which involved the death of a soldier.
The accident which claimed the life of a soldier happened in Tesano in the Greater Accra Region on Monday. According to Ghanaian Sports journalist Saddick Adams,the incident the soldier was crushed by an unknown driver on Monday afternoon.
Recounting how the soldier lost his life, the Tesano Police Divisional Commander who spoke to Angel FM, after the soldier was hit by the unknown truck driver and was lying in a pool of blood, bystanders were only interested in taking pictures and videos of the dead body.
Thw crowd, according to reports didn’t feel any kind of urgency to get the soldier off the seen or bring in authorities to take care of the body a situation the police commander felt was sad.
