A Ghanaian music producer, Wei Ye Oteng, has replied to the Presiding Bishop of Victory Bible Church International, Bishop Tackie-Yarboi following his comment that the ban placed on public gatherings by President Akufo-Addo following the outbreak of Coronavirus which is preventing Christians from worshipping in churches is an infringement on their right.
The Man of God in an interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat was of the view that the churches can protect their members if the ban is lifted.
“I’m advocating for the ban on churches to be lifted because my freedom of worship has been taking away from me,” he said.
Reacting to his comment in a post sighted by Zionfelix.net, Wei Ye Oteng told Bishop Yarboi that there is nothing like a right as all citizens are sacrificing for the deadly disease to be combatted.
He also disclosed what he wanted to do if he has the green light to do so—but the directive on the closure of borders will be a hindrance and also preventing others from doing their businesses as well.
Wei Ye Oteng wrote on Facebook: “Whose grandfather is this ? Tell him no one has rights in this Covid season, we all are sacrificing a lot to heal this world as at this moment. Ur here talking about right coz of collection and tithes.
“Me too my right to import gadgets to enhance my work has be taken away. Papa stop de right right. All artist are not playing shows, how do they get money to come record? Don’t they have right to perform their own intellectual property to make money and feed the chain tru services,? I beg relax jorrr.”
