The Chief Justice in delivering the verdict which was a unanimous decision of all the seven justices who sat the matter said plainly that John Mahama and his NDC did not do enough to merit the granting any of the reliefs they were seeking for.
As such, they could not annul the results of the 2020 general elections and call for a re-run of it.
Just moments after the ruling, President Akufo-Addo has taken to Facebook to react.
In very few words, he said: “On Thursday, 4th March 2021, the Supreme Court, in a unanimous ruling, affirmed my victory in the presidential election of 7th December 2020.”
