Yesterday, June 13, Citinewsroom broke the news about Ghana’s health minister and MP for Dormaa Central has tested positive novel coronavirus.

Soon after the story went viral, Despite Media’s Afia Pokuaa through her Facebook page revealed that the minister had told her that the reports are false.

According to Afia Pokuaa’s post yesterday, the health minister actually stated that he was only resting at the UGMC hospital, which is in fact a coronavirus isolation center.

In a strange turn of events, President Akufo-Addo during his 11th address to Ghanaians on the measure that have been taken as a country to deal with the spread of the virus confirmed that the Minister has actually tested positive the virus.

In a video available to zionfelix.net, Prez NADAA at the tail end of his address took time off to wish the health minister a speedy recovery after coming into contact with the virus while in the line of duty.
