A lot of Ghanaians have condemned Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi’s ethnocentric comment and the latest person to join the conversation is renowned gospel musician, Lady Prempeh.
Speaking with Zion Felix on the ‘Uncut Show’, Lady Prempeh felt very sorry for the man of God due to his unguarded comment on Asante, Ewe and Fante women.
The ‘Enka Ho Da’ composer said Prophet Badu Kobi is one of her spiritual fathers but his remarks need to be rebuked.
According to her, not all women fit his description so generalizing it was a big mistake.
The gospel musician detailed how many Asante and women from other tribes support and loves their husbands right from the start of their relationships—and after they have given birth, they love both their husbands and children.
She, therefore, called on Prophet Kobi to do the needful and apologise to all these women groups he mentioned in his statement.
Lady Prempeh, who is an Asante woman concluded that Asante women are hard workers and forceful in whatever they do.
