Even though President Akufo Addo lifted the ban on churches and mosques during his 10th Address to the Nation on the fight against coronavirus disease on Sunday, May 31, the founder of Alabaster Box Ministries, Prophet Kofi Oduro has suspended church gathering and other activities to protect its members from deadly coronavirus.
According to a press release signed by Prophet Oduro and wife Rita, they reveal that they are going to stick to virtual church service until further notice.

The statement also called on all the church members to make sure they pray and seek the face of God for the country and the world during these trying times.

It will be recalled that President Akufo Addo lifted the ban on churches and mosques with some strict conditions and observing social distancing protocols at each service.
Each church service shouldn’t have more than 100 members and time of service should last for one hour.
Churches that can stick to the President’s directives can go ahead and organise church service from June 5, 2020, but according to Destiny Empowerment Chapel International, church members should hold on for now and stick to virtual service until further notice.
