The Founder and Leader of House of Power Ministries Worldwide, Prophet Sampson Amoateng has freed ten (10) prisoners who were confined at the Nsawam Prison for their inability to pay their court fines or penalties.
Prophet Amoateng told Zion Felix in an interview on the ‘Uncut Show’ that God placed it on his heart to free some of the inmates after he made a donation at the Nsawam Government Hospital last year.
He explained their offences were minor ones but they were sentenced for their failure to pay the fines.
The Man of God lamented many people have been put behind bars due to their poor background and inability to pay the fines.
He revealed how one of the prisoners he settled his fine was sentenced thirty (30) years after an amount of Ghc 54,000 meant for business went bad.
The Founder of House of Power Ministries Worldwide and his entourage also made a donation and dined with the prisoners.
He divulged all those freed will be taking through counselling sessions and plans are also in place for them to be empowered.
