Lynx Entertainment’s signed music star, Kidi made a lot of headlines yesterday, May 14, after a video of him being sacked from the studio of Accra FM for being late for an interview with Nana Romeo went viral.
The viral video has generated a lot of discussion on social media discussion, with most of the people passing comments on it sharply divided.
While some people feel Nana Romeo ‘Welewele’ could have handled the whole situation in a much better way if he took time to apply some little bit of emotional intelligence, others have gone hard on Kidi and justified the actions of the host.
As these discussions continue, it is emerging that Kidi after the embarrassing moment on air decided to take a swipe at the Class Media Group-owned radio station.
During the entertainment review segment on Hitz FM on Friday morning, DJ Premier, a former employee of Accra FM revealed that some directors of the station have told him that Kidi allegedly stated that he is bigger than the radio station, as such, he considers what Nana Romeo did as a complete insult to his brand.
He added that this alleged remark of Kidi is one the radio station is not taking lightly and are already threatening to stop playing his songs if his (Kidi) management does not come to offer an apology.
