Joseph Nti, a wealthy Ghanaian businessman decided to hold an extravagant funeral for his late mother.
The ceremony, which took place in Asante Akyem Akutuase on Saturday, August 24, 2024, was marked by opulence and grandeur, befitting the memory of his beloved mother.

Joseph Nti, along with a convoy of luxury vehicles, made the journey from Ac cra to Asante Akyem Akutuase.
Accompanied by his friends and members of the elite social group, “The Perfect Gentlemen,” which includes notable personalities such as renowned Ghanaian musician Akwaboah, the convoy commanded attention on every road it took.
Adding to this beautiful display was a helicopter that he employed to transport the body of his mother from Accra to Asante Akyem Akutuase on the Friday preceding the funeral.
This unprecedented move left onlookers in awe as the chopper landed in the small town to take Mr. Nti’s late mother to her final resting place.
The funeral itself was a grand affair, attended by a host of dignitaries, business moguls, celebrities, and local residents.
The atmosphere was a blend of solemnity and celebration.
Traditional drummers, singers, and dancers performed, creating an emotionally charged environment that paid homage to the deceased’s life.
Following the funeral, Joseph Nti went further to host a lavish dinner for close family members, friends, and special guests and it had popular and award-winning musician, Kofi Kinaata making a surprise performance.
