The first edition of the Black Star Line Festival put together by Vic Mensah and Chance The Rapper was a huge success.
The events which took place on Friday, January 6, 2023, at the Black Star Square in Accra saw all the top-rated musicians billed to perform provide a good account of themselves.

The concert, which was supposedly free for music fans and revelers, saw American rapper T-Pain create a sense of nostalgia by performing all of his old hits like “Buy You a Drink,” “Booty Work,” and “Bartender.”
Vic Mensah and Chance the Rapper, the two brains behind the event also wowed the crowd with their masterclass performances.
For the Ghanaian contingent who also mounted the stage, they made sure they live a lasting mark on the fans who were largely from the diaspora.
Stonebwoy, Kwesi Arthur, M.anifest, Obrafour, King Promise, Darkovibes, Asakaa Boys, and the landlord, Sarkodie dazzled the thousands of people gathered there.
