Highly Spiritual Records signee, Kurl Songx had his big breakthrough in the Ghanaian music space back in 2017 after he dropped his controversial “Jennifer Lomotey” song which featured Ghana’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie.

The musician who is currently enjoying some good airplay on both TV and radio with his recent single “Lobi” revealed on the ‘Uncut’ show that the collaboration with the Sarkcess Music boss is one he will eternally be grateful for because it has really helped his music career.

Asked how he feels about people always ascribing his success to Sarkodie even though he is doing a lot of good work on his own, Kurl Songx told Zionfelix that he is not perturbed at all.

He added that before many other people in the music space, including Sarkodie himself, became the huge brands they are today, they had some help from people and as such is very appreciative that Sarkodie gave him the needed push and a helping hand.

He also emphasized that his management team, led by award-winning sound engineer Kaywa and the controversies which came up when he released the song initially have also helped him to have some level of relevance in the music industry.
