Multiple award-winning Ghanaian musician, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly called Sarkodie has disclosed that he recently shed a lot of tears even though it is not something he does frequently.
The CEO of Sarkcess Music disclosed in an interview with Angela Yee on her popular podcast called Way Up, the rapper mentioned that he is one individual who has never been sad in his life because he appreciates whatever happens in his life.
However, upon the recent demise of his lawyer, Cynthia Quarcoo, he could not himself but shed a few tears because he was very sad.
“I’m the type of person that can just move forward,” he said. “I just appreciate whatever that’s happening looking at how I turned out to be and that’s what I care about…my biggest problem which is my blessing is that I always appreciate every situation. My sister sent me a text message asking ‘Have I ever been sad?’ because they never seen me like that before. I only cried recently because of my lawyer but it’s rare to catch me being sad about something,” Sarkodie said.
Lawyer Cynthia Quarcoo reportedly died on Wednesday, June 21 at age 52.
Apart from her fabulous exploits in the legal space, she also made significant contributions to the entertainment industry with her Africa 1 Media, a company known to be responsible for talent management and public relations that has partnered with numerous Ghanaian musicians.
