Sarkodie‘s initiative for mother Ghana to have her own version of music producers face-off to show music lovers the great works they have worked on has so far been very successful.
Already, the two nights of the show, which has seen Jay Q and Appietus have a go at each on a day while Killbeatz and Richie Mensah on a different day certainly gave music lovers a lot of nostalgic feelings.
What is however sad is that some of the commentaries on social media every time the face-off ends seem to suggest that the whole thing is some kind of a battle/competition.
This has finally prompted the brain behind the whole concept in Ghana, Sarkodie to take to his social media pages to express some displeasure while he sought to get some things clear.
According to the BET award winner in the tweet, zionfelix.net has sighted, #BehindDaHitz is not a competition among music producers but rather an appreciation and a celebration of their great musical works.
“Yo I normally don’t try to control how fans or twitter commentators react on social media but guys let’s try to get the point of #BehindDaHitz it ain’t no competition, we celebrating our good music / these geniuses behind dem songs. In these dark times we need stuff like this 🙏🏾” he tweeted.

Well, Sarkodie has said his piece but the question you ask yourself is, will netizens listen to him? Anyway, four top producers (MOG Beats, StreetzBeats, Dj Breezy, Master Garzy) will be on later this evening from 7 PM Ghana time so you can make a date and have some fun.
