The Serwaa Amihere Foundation through its Red Roses Christmas charity outreach is today, December 23, 2021, giving out funds and other items to support widows and single mothers to help them start a business.
The foundation which is spearheaded by the popular anchor, Serwaa Amihere recently appealed to Ghanaians to support with cash donations and any item they believe would help someone make a decent living in order to help her lessen the burdens of these women who might be struggling to make ends meet.
Serwaa Amihere and her team are currently at the office of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly giving out all the funds they have raised and other items they have to these people.
Even though she expected 200 people, it appears the numbers have almost doubled today.
Speaking on the sidelines, Serwaa Amihere said that she is overwhelmed by the number, however, she was hopeful that everyone will be given something. She also thanked all the people who have supported her in cash and with items to make this possible.
