The organizers of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards says they won’t be perturbed if Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy team up to organize a concert on the day the awards night will be held.
The public Relations Officer (PRO) for Charterhouse, Robert Klah confidently stated in an interview with Caleb Nii Boye on Live FM monitored by Zionfelix.net that they won’t be threatened if these musicians decide to toe that line.
According to him, this would not be the first time Charterhouse will encounter such a challenge.
He recounted Shatta Wale and Sarkodie performing at a different show some years ago when the VGMAs night was on the same day.
The Charterhouse PRO was resolute their actions did not diminish the success of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards at that time.
He indicated that the VGMAs has its target audience so the program will surely run successfully.
Mr Klah added that the VGMAs are attended by all kinds of people who love it, so the organizers are hopeful of a successful event should these musicians decide to organize a concert on the same day of the awards night.
His comment follows a call on Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, who are serving an indefinite ban placed on them by the organizers to host their event on a conflicting date.
Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were penalized by the VGMA Board after their fracas at the 2019 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
