Shatta Wale’s decision to suddenly storm the stage at the 20th anniversary of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards when he was not the one who was named of the winner of the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of The Year is one which has received many reactions from industry players.

Dancehall musician Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo, popularly known in showbiz circles as Epixode, who was also nominated in the same category has revealed that Shatta Wale’s decision to go onto the stage was very unnecessary.

Epixode

The “Dear Mama” singer told Zionfelix on the ‘Uncut’ show after the chaos at the AICC that it is very sad that musicians who are supposed to be united will decide to fight like the cat and mouse. He also added that it is a very big disgrace for the local Reggae/Dancehall genre which is now growing.

Epixode further reiterated that he feels very disappointed that Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy destroyed this great opportunity which the Ghana music industry could have used to market itself to the world as many people were watching around the world.
