Desmond Blackmore aka D-Black, the owner of Black Avenue Muzik, has talked about the exit of Freda Rhymz from his label.
During a discussion on 3Music TV hosted by Jay Forley, the rapper and businessman opened up on why Freda left.
According to him, the young Ghanaian rapper and songwriter was impatient.
He disclosed there was a plan for all the artistes on Black Avenue Muzik after shooting a video and using reactions from the public to execute the plan.
D-Black said he realized Sefa got more attention, followed by Dahlin Gage and Freda—in that order.
After this, he thought it wise to start with Sefa’s project first, since she got much attention. Gage and Freda were to be followed.
The Black Avenue Muzik boss said Freda Rhymz told him she couldn’t wait a year or more for her turn.
He stated that they later agreed to part ways.
