I would have been really surprised if this day never came, especially after I saw some Chinese create hilarious memes with the theme of ‘Dada Awu’ dancing pallbearing group from Ghana.
Well, as typical of the Chinese, they failed to make me lose a possible bet because lo and behold, they have started cashing in on the idea that is not original theirs – which is really no news.

On Facebook earlier this morning, I came across some figurines of the group on the page of a Chinese company.
The company, JMG 1/64 Miniatures is a figurines workshop based in Hong Kong and already they have started selling the statuette they have created based on the pallbearers from Ghana.

There are various sets of figurines on the company’s website one showing four of the pallbearers crawling while carrying the coffin and mimicking one of their most popular dance moves.
I guess you are wondering how much they are selling the figurines at this point. Well, they are selling a set for $49 for the first set and $40 for the second set.
While this is a little weird, I am not too surprised because it is all about money here, and as you may likely know, people will go to every length of money.
