Popular and celebrated Kumawood actor Lilwin is known to execute any role given on set.

Lil Win has played many roles including acting as a small boy, an uncle and even an old man. This may come as a surprise but speaking with Kwesi Dope, host of The Brunch on Spyderlee Entertainment TV last Friday, Lil Win revealed that he single-handedly does his make-up whenever he’s on set.

‘I’m on set 24/7. I single-handedly do my makeup on set. When I play the role of an old man, I do my own makeup; you can ask anybody. I take the mirror and do everything. That extra-service is not added to my pay. I leave that to be given to the makeup artist,’ he said.

Lilwin further went on to advise his colleagues in the entertainment industry to be very dedicated to their work.

‘Whatever work it is that you do, you should know that it’s from God; and that’s where you make your ends meet so you have to be very dedicated and ‘kill’ yourself for the job…I wake up at 6am go on set, close around 12am and go to the studio to record until about 4am before I go back home to sleep. If you don’t ‘kill’ yourself for God to see that you are grateful for the talent he’s given you, he’s going to take it away from you,’ he told host Kwesi Dope.

Lil Win who ventured into the entertainment industry as an actor now posses as a threat to the music industry. Within a short span of launching his music career, he has released hit after hit including ‘Mama Boss Papa,’ ‘Me Yare,’ ‘Obumpa’ and recently ‘Ladder.’
