Ghanaian born musician, Francesca Duncan Williams, who is popularly known as Sista Afia yesterday, November 26, during the album listening session for her ‘Queen Solomon’ album with friends in the media gave a very emotional speech about the way she funds all the work she does. The ‘Champion Attah’ hitmaker stated that contrary to the many public claims and rumors that there is a supposed ‘big man’ or ‘sugar daddy’ behind the scenes who funds her career, all the work she does is solely funded from her music and her family, the Duncan-Williams family.
The talented musician who rocked a very beautiful all blue dress to the album listening added that there is no big man, no sugar daddy and nobody anywhere helping her to achieve and do the great things she has so far done in the music industry. Sista Afia, therefore, heaped heavy praises on her amazing Duncan-Williams family, giving special mention to her aunty, mom and a granny who is 98 but wanted to come to her album listening.
Sista Afia also used her emotional speech to say a very big thanks to all the bloggers and industry players who came out in their numbers to grace her album listening. The talented female singer will release her maiden album dubbed the ‘Queen Solomon’ on December 1, 2018. After dedicating close to 2 years to compile songs on the album, the “Slay Queen” Hitmaker believes the time to make songs from the album public is now.
