Ghanaian singer, Sista Afia has finally reacted to the suggestion online that she planned the recent video of herself being humiliated by a macho man who claimed she owed him some money for work done during an interview at the Accra FM studios.
Speaking On UTV’s ‘United Showbiz show, Sista Afia admitted that she has heard all those speculations. However, she clarified that there is not a chance in this life that she will do anything to tarnish the image she has built for herself as a musician all in the name of a stunt.
“People say it’s a stunt but I don’t blame them. I won’t embarrass myself like that all in the name of a publicity stunt. I won’t publicly embarrass myself like that, especially with something that has got to do with debt. Even now I still feel like I have been pranked,“ Sista Afia said.
Providing further clarification on the issue during her interview on UTV, Sista Afia said: “Where the issue has gotten to has become very tricky. I have given the person an ultimatum to reveal the identity of one who sent him. He should name the person who sent him because clearly he was sent. I don’t know him from Adam. I usually walk with six guys and clearly he isn’t a part of them.”
She concluded by revealing that she has given the matter to the police to deal with by offering the macho man an ultimatum to disclose the identity of the people who put him up to do this.
