Budding Ghanaian singer, Queen Haizel has confirmed that she is having a sour relationship with Sista Afia.
Speaking in an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM-which was monitored by zionfelix.net, Haizel detailed what led to her feud with the ‘Slay Queen’ composer.
According to her, Sista Afia treated her like trash when they met for the first time physically at Dr Ray’s studio.
Queen Haizel averred she was looking up to her [Sista Afia] but her reaction towards her when she needed her for a collabo pushed her away.
She, therefore, made a video to register her displeasure which gave her some interviews.
In the video, she lamented how people pretend in the Ghanaian music industry—but act differently when you meet them one-on-one.
Haizel said she did not mention Sista Afia’s name in the video but people presumed she was referring to her.
Following that, Queen Haizel revealed receiving calls and messages that were very condemning.
The budding musician stated that she was shocked to see Sista Afia barring her face on a nomination poster that she posted on her Instagram page.
She bemoaned that Sista Afia’s action was unfortunate and very unnecessary.
As zionfelix.net reported earlier, the ‘Slay Queen’ composer has been nominated in one category with a colleague musician she is not in talking terms with—and when she was sharing the nomination poster on her social media handles, she covered the face of her opponent.
Sista Afia was nominated in Female Vocalist of the Year category in the 2019 edition of the Greater Accra Music Awards together with Adina, Cina Soul, Preppy, Efe Keyz and the one she has covered her face [Queen Haizel].
