The attacks followed an announcement by the European Union in Ghana that the LGBTQ has opened a new office in Ghana where the laws of the country frowns on the act.

The group has received love from Sister Derby following the attacks. The photo model went after Ghanaian homophobes for hating the group without understanding their values.

“Why hate when you can love? Coz y’all homophobes find it easier to hate. Y’all are full of fear of what u do not understand. Fearos,” she wrote on her Twitter account.
