Charterhouse Productions, organizers of the annual biggest indoor music concert, ‘Ghana Rocks Concert’ has released an official statement to explain the circumstances which prevented Nigeria’s ‘bad boy’ Burna Boy, real name, Damini Ogulu from performing at this year’s concert and given an unreserved apology alongside.
In the statement released today, December 30, 2018, and signed by its PRO, George Quaye, the firm explains that Burna Boy failed to make the all-important appearance because he had inhaled tear gas at an event some nights ago and was admitted at the hospital at the time he was supposed to fly to Ghana.
The statement also revealed that even though, Charterhouse and his mother, who happens to be his manager, went through thick and thin to get him in Ghana for the show, all their efforts proved futile. They end the statement with a very heartfelt apology to all patrons of the show who had high hopes to see Burna Boy at the concert.
