In the last few days, the name of Highly Spiritual signed musician, Mr. Drew has been caught up in a lot of headlines because he supposedly decided to do a cover for Rotimi’s “Love Riddim” without doing the necessary things.
While Mr. Drew‘s name is the most mentioned in this whole brouhaha, multiple award-winning Dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla aka Stonebwoy is roped in along the lines because he featured on it.
In an attempt to stand blameless and be tagged unprofessional in this whole brouhaha, Stonebwoy has revealed that he never knew that the song was a cover when he decided to drop the verse as Mr. Drew has suggested in his interviews with Zionfelix and the one with Andy Dosty earlier today.
According to Stonebwoy, he only became aware that the song was a cover when his kid brother, Selasi prompted him.
He added that after he got to know this, he urged Mr. Drew and his boss, Kaywa to go through the needed processes to prevent the end results witnessed.
Stonebwoy ended by stating plainly that if anything at all, he would have wished that Mr. Drew and Kaywa would defend him when people decided to rope his name into the whole brouhaha.
