Bishop Salifu Amoako, father of the 16-year-old boy involved in a tragic accident that claimed the lives of two young girls in East Legon on October 12, 2024, has called for calm, asking Ghanaians to stop speculating about the incident.
Addressing his congregation at Alive Chapel International on Sunday, October 20, the prominent religious leader expressed frustration with the ongoing discussions surrounding the accident, which he described as an unfortunate event rather than a deliberate act.
Bishop Amoako defended his son, clarifying that the boy had not committed an intentional crime.
“It was an accident,” he said, adding “My son did not carry a gun to kill anybody. He involved himself in a terrible accident, and I am not the one who did it, nor his mother. It is my name, that is why people are talking.”
