Teephlow & Teephlow

Rapper Kwaku  Vincent popularly known as Strongman had the Ghanaian populace talking when he released his diss single, Charcoal days back.

The Sarkcess Music artiste seconds after the song was made public had many describing the hip-hop tune as a diss to his colleague acts like Teephlow, Kojo Cue, Lil Shaker and few others. The musician had not passed a comment on the song until Zylofon FM contacted him to ask if indeed he threw shots at the musicians mentioned.

Strongman speaking on the radio station refuted claims that he has any skirmish with Spyderlee Entertainment artiste, Teephlow. He further questioned why Ghanaians fail to talk about artistes who punch him in their songs but start to decipher his lyrics whenever he releases a diss song.

“I just decided to record a hip-hip song and that is what brought about charcoal. The song was not written because I’ve a beef with Teephlow, there is nothing like that ongoing between us.. What hurts me is that when people throw shots at me, Ghanaians fail to see it but when  write my song, they give different meanings to it.” Zionfelix.net litening to Zylofon FM in Accra heard Strongman utter these words.

According to him, many rappers have dissed him in their tunes but most Ghanaians overlooked it. Mentioning names of rappers who have indirectly punched him, the alumnus of UCC mentioned Teephlow. He quickly added that the ‘Alkayida’ rapper is not the only hip-hop act who has indirectly attacked him in their songs.

“You can listen to some of the guys not necessarily only Teephlow’s songs even though some of his songs are directed at me” he added.

The ‘Obituary’ rapper concluded that “throwing shots in hip-hop is normal” but he did not waste time to diss any musician in the newly released song Charcoal.
