Hiplife musician turned entrepreneur, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel has stated without mincing words that churches now are purely for business but not a holy place of worship.
The mother of one made this shocking revelation in a chat with Zionfelix on the ‘Uncut’ show when she was speaking about the reasons why she nearly decided to accept an offer from Ghana’s latest ‘celebrity man of God’, Prophet Prince Elijah Osei Kofi to help him get more people to attend his church by paying them a visit.
She revealed that even though she didn’t have a problem attending the church, the suggestion from the middle man of the pastor that she helps them fake a prophesy once she came to the church, quickly blew her off.
Mzbel told Zionfelix that in as much as she had heard tales about some pastors paying huge sums of money to some people to help them fake miracles, she never believed it to be true until Prophet Prince and his middle man, made the shocking suggestion.
She added that even though she does not believe in Jesus Christ, she always want to be real and honest, for which reason she firmly rejected their offer which could have made her Gh 10,000 cedis richer.
